Sesbania herbacea (Mill.) McVaugh (syn. Sesbania exaltata (Raf.) Rydb. ex A.W. Hill) is native to tropical America and the southern U.S. It has been reported adventive in eastern Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, and (New York?) and may eventually be confirmed in our area, but no specimens have yet been seen.
