General Discussion

This Eurasian species was recently discovered naturalized in Dutchess Co., NY, just on the northern fringe of our flora range. It may eventually be found in our area, but no specimens have yet been seen, see:

Tabak, N. M. 2011. Salvia glutinosa (Lamiaceae) naturalized in southeastern New York. Rhodora. 113(954):220-224.
