General Discussion

This species (syn. Aster gracilis Nutt.) is native to the southeastern U.S., historically recorded as far north as Burlington and Ocean Cos., NJ. It could conceivable appear in Mercer, Middlesex or Monmouth Cos., NJ, but no specimens have yet been seen.
