An old 1878 voucher from Montuak, Suffolk Co., NY was reportely identified as this Eurasian species, see: Long Island Botancial Society Newsletter 7(3):18. 1997. Also reported from eastern Pennsylvania, this species may eventually appear in NJ as well.
