This species is also reported from unspecified localities in Morris Co., NJ; and Suffolk Co., NY. This species has been somewhat cryptic in our flora and is possibly more common than the map would indicate. Due to its usual sterile condition and its vegetative similarity to Tussilago, it is possibly under-reported/collected.
