Citrullus colocynthis (L.) Schrad. ex Eckl. & Zeyh. and Citrullus lanatus (Thunb.) Matsumura & Nakai have been reported from our area. Further research is needed to clarify the occurrence and distribution of these species, and they are herein mapped as one unit.
