General Discussion

This species has been historically reported from unspecified localities in New York and Westchester Cos., NY, but no specimens have been seen. Reported as a waif at the end of the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, P. polycnemoides apparently has not persisted within our flora, but may eventually be relocated.
