General Discussion

Quercus x rehderi Trel. Proc. Amer. Phil. Soc. 56: 51. 1917.

This hybrid oak results from the crossing of bear and black oaks and occurs infrequently in the New York metropolitan area; intermediate in characters between the two parents.
